HTML 5 has really changed my perspective
and made my design sense much more selective
about arrangements and fonts and colors and such -
no need for loathsome programming, just use your artist's touch!
With such ease and flow do I drag and drop things around.
New functionalities often seem to be found
with the click of the mouse
or the clack of a key -
I am building something awesome so effortlessly!
I want to shout from the rooftops, "There is a new way!
You can make a whole website in just under a day!"
Slideshows and galleries and interactive features
for little leagues, nail salons, and Spanish teachers!
Create your very own site and make it just right -
use wix.com and you could be done by tonight!
Start with a template, its easy as pie.
You'll be wrapped in a snap and kiss that project goodbye!
Once you reap the rewards of a most excellent web presence,
folks will offer you theatre tickets (or work) with no reticence!
Finally you'll see how the "other half" may be
as a result of the intense utilization and astounding powers of HTML 5!

Groundhogs
Groundhogs are just hogs that live in the ground.
(the thought of that makes me laugh out loud)
With their neckless stature and sketchy nature,
They seem quite infantile and not at all mature.
Sloths, however, are like rich old men,
Rolling around all day in a swamp of gin.
Until they're disturbed by their lady friends
Who say, "It's been long enough, its time to come in!"
Then they nestle together under a sky full of stars
Far away from the nervous city and smelly cars.
And they giggle at the groundhogs who wish they were bigger,
Because nothing is better than being a sloth - go figure!
But as the laughter dies down, sometimes they say
Maybe they would try being a groundhog for just one day.

I Already Know
Oh, don't even try to tell me about poetry.
I know it's not most folks' most favorite thing to read.
Words in a jumble and rhymes and such
Maybe you'll find meaning if you've any luck.
If you don't have luck, you could get stuck
On a stanza who don't understand ya and then, "Oh f*ck!"
You feel like a dolt for not really getting it,
Then try to cover it up by not admitting it.
Everyone can tell,
You've totally broken the spell
Cast by those words hanging around the atmosphere!
